Cookie and local storage notice

What these technologies do

Cookies and similar technologies can remember information or help a service recognise a browser. Local storage keeps information directly in the browser. ClockSend uses them only where needed to sign you in, protect the service and remember a limited device preference.

Technologies currently used

• Strictly necessary authentication and security technologies supplied by the sign-in and hosting services. These keep the session working, route requests securely and help prevent misuse.
• A local browser value named clocksend:onboarding-tour:v2, which records that the introductory guide has been completed so it does not automatically reopen on that device.

No non-essential tracking at present

At the date of this notice, ClockSend does not use advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies. Because only strictly necessary technologies are used, ClockSend does not currently show a cookie consent banner.

Your controls

You can remove cookies and local storage through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other core features. Clearing the onboarding preference means the guide may appear again.

Future changes

If we introduce analytics, advertising or another non-essential technology, we will update this notice and ask for consent before using it where required.
